The 2014 edition of the Luderitz Speed Challenge was a hugely successful event, the competitors had a blast thanks to the organisation team around Ozone global team rider Sebastien Cattelan who also won the kite speed competition.

Hi guys,
As some of you already know I had to take a break on the PKRA tour this year as my results didn’t go as planned and I had to get back to study.
I also went to the Mentawaii (Indonesia) for Surf trip with my friends and it was such a great adventure! I had time to disconnect and now I feel more motivated about my school work and getting ready for the next PKRA season!

We have received a small number of reports regarding the retaining screws coming loose and potentially falling out of the base of Ozone Chickenloops manufactured in Spring 2014. We are therefore asking everyone who has purchased a bar and chickenloop this year (2014) to check the two cross head stainless steel screws are tight in the base of the chickenloop body. If they have come loose, they need to be tightened before your next session and replaced immediately with screws that hav…

Dave Robertson first to complete NZ Coastal Classic on a Kite Board

Dave Robertson has become the first successful Kite Boarder to complete the PIC Coastal Classic from Auckland to Russell. His time of 7hours 28mins makes him the fastest solo sailor and board sailor to complete the 120nm race.
A buzzing Robertson on the finish line said of his achievement, ‘I’m stoked, it has been a 10 year dream in the making. Finally knocked it off which was awesome’.

It has been a year of change in the world of land kiting not only in Britain but across Europe with the inaugural tours of both RawKite and the KLBB.
