Carbon Boom System
- Zero-movement connection — a stitched-in base plate replaces the slot handle system, eliminating span-wise and chord-wise play so the wing reacts the instant you move the boom
- Textured EVA grip for maximum traction
- Moulded EVA bumper protects your board and head, and allows a natural "pistol grip" position
- Streamlined strut — the boom's stiffness removed the need for extra handle reinforcements, for a lighter, more aerodynamic strut
- Consistent feel across the range — higher grade carbon on the longer booms
Design Details
- Hybrid Teijin canopy — 5×5 ripstop on the main canopy for strength and minimal diagonal stretch, 3×3 ripstop on high-load front panels to fine-tune flex
- Anti-flap rigid battens along the trailing edge reduce flutter and canopy wear
- Stiff leading edge de-power/surf handle with soft knuckle padding, for full control when flagged out on a wave
- Easy view windows either side of the strut
- Direct Connect strut, horizontal canopy panels and overlap flat seams for optimum canopy tension
- Reinforced trailing edge with internal Dyneema line, plus reinforced leading edge and strut
