- Large surface area and square outline combined with a moderate to low rocker for early planing and predictable board handling — tackling the biggest struggle students face after body dragging: water starting and edging
- Single concave bottom shape for a smooth ride that's versatile across many conditions
- Off-centred footstrap inserts increase comfort while edging
- Inside heel-edge fins give extra tracking grip, stopping the board slipping out while students learn basic edge control
- Wind window diagram on the deck for instructors and students to reference during lessons — and a reminder for students throughout their course
